BPI Certification Training Program

When it comes to choosing a career that not only supports your family, but makes a difference in this world too, there are lots of things you can do. If you want to touch the lives of thousands, you can be a teacher or doctor. If you want to inspire beauty, you can be a singer or artists. If you want to help protect the environment and help others do the same, you can be a building analyst. Of these examples, only the career of a building analyst requires a short amount of training before you get into the field – that would be BPI certification.

Basically, BPI certification is a nationally recognized training program that prepares people for careers as building analysts and energy auditors. BPI stands for the Building Performance Institute, and the certification offered by BPI is often a prerequisite for certain certifications, and is offered throughout the country. The program requires students to complete an average of 20 hours of lecture, 16 hours of field work, and then the time it takes for the exam. The training is conducted over a week, and at the end students take the exams; those who pass receive their BPI certifications and can continue moving toward a career that will make a difference.
